The Office of the State Attorney employs Certified Legal Interns (CLIs). Students/graduates of Florida Law Schools and Non-Florida Law Schools may qualify, if they have complied with Florida Rules of Court, Chapter 11, Rules Governing the Law School Practice Program. Applicants who do not meet certification requirements will not be considered for employment until after becoming a member of the Florida Bar.

Law School Pratice Program Rules
Compensation and Benefits Information for CLIs : Post- graduate Interns are compensated at an annual rate of $48,000. Upon admission to the Florida Bar, a CLI is eligible for appointment to the position of Assistant State Attorney with the benefits and salary consistent with the position. Graduate Certified Legal Interns accrue vacation and sick leave on a monthly basis.
